Congratulations on your engagement! We are thrilled to have you join us for your first wedding dress appointment at The White Peony! This 1 hour and 30 minute appointment features our renowned TWP experience as you shop with your personal stylist and enjoy trying on gowns in your private fitting room. We recommend keeping your group small (1-3 people max) for an intimate experience.
There is a non-refundable $45 (GST included) charge for this appointment. The fee may be credited towards your gown if purchased during this appointment.

This appointment is dedicated to brides who have shopped with us before and have narrowed it down to a few favourites. (If you are ready to say yes to your dress and just want to have your measurements taken and proceed with your purchase, you can book a complimentary 45 minute āSay Yesā appointment). During this 1 hour appointment, you will focus on trying on your top picks from your initial consultation and hopefully gain more clarity on which dress might be āthe oneā.

Welcome back! This appointment is for you if you have joined us at The White Peony already and have found the one, but you needed to sleep on it. During this 45 minute complimentary appointment, we will take your measurements, celebrate your big moment, and place your order! Letās get your dress!

Third appointments are designed for brides that have been to TWP for a First Appointment as well as a Follow-Up Appointment. We will once again revisit any favourites, and hopefully find yourself ready to officially say yes!
There is a non-refundable and non-credited $40.00 charge for third appointments and beyond.

Located in the design district of old town Victoria, weāre a romantic little bridal boutique specializing in exclusive dress collections and unparalleled customer service. Here, weāre warm and welcoming, and understand deeply that every body, and everybody, is beautiful!
We curate our dress collection to reflect our love of romance and simplicity, and each wedding dress brought into the shop is hand-selected by us. We carry select bridal designers we love from around the world, specializing in collections made in Canada. We even have our very own TWP bridal collection you can only find in our store.

FAQs
Do I need an appointment?
Yes! Our boutique runs by appointment only every day of the week. To book your appointment, click here. No appointment but wanting to come in? Please call ahead. If we can accommodate, weād be happy to schedule you in.
What is the price range of your dresses?
Our collection ranges from $2500 to $7500, with the majority of dresses being between $3000-$4500. We also have a selection of off-the-rack/sale dresses (you can check them out here) for the budget-conscious bride, that are all under $2000.
How many people can I bring with me?
Our boutique has seating for up to 4 additional guests. We find bringing just a few of your closest loved ones keeps the experience special and focused on you. If youāre hoping to bring a larger party with you, please inquire in advance, and we can help you book a specialty appointment to accommodate your group.
Can we bring Champagne?
No. We are not legally permitted to have alcohol brought into our business. However, we do pop bubbles for you when you say YES to the dress!
Should I bring or wear anything special to my appointment?
We suggest wearing nude or white, seam-free undergarments. (Bringing shapewear for fitted crepe dresses can also be helpful.) Plus a pair of heels (or any additional accessories youāve already picked) if youād like!
What sizes are your sample dresses?
The majority are sizes 10-12, however we carry samples ranging from size 4 to 24. We understand it can be hard to envision yourself if the sample size isnāt a perfect fit, but we have lots of clips and expert tricks to help give a very good idea!
When should I order my wedding dress?
We recommend ordering at least 6-9 months ahead of your wedding date to allow necessary time for production, shipping, and alterations. Rush orders can often be accommodated for additional fees. We also have a small sample sale collection of off-the-rack dresses to shop through if youāre tight on time, you can view them here.
Do you provide alterations?
We do not have in-house tailoring, however we provide our brides a list of recommended seamstresses we trust. As we are the experts in our field, they are the experts in theirs, and they are available for any questions or concerns throughout the alterations process.
Do you carry any bridesmaid or mother-of-the-bride dresses?
We focus exclusively on the bride at our shop. We carry wedding dresses in addition to bridal accessories. We would be happy to provide any recommendations we can for your bridal party and special ladies though.
What is a trunk show?
This is when we feature one designerās complete collection of dresses for a limited amount of time. This provides brides with an opportunity to order a dress from said designer that is not carried in our permanent dress collection, and a 10% trunk show discount is often associated when purchasing during. These typically take place in our shop once or twice a year. Keep your eyes on our Instagram for updates and special events!
