We are thrilled to have you join us for your first appointment at The White Peony. This 1 hour and 30 minutes appointment features our renowned White Peony experience as you shop with your personal stylist, and enjoy trying on gowns in your private fitting room.
There is a non-refundable $45 charge for this appointment. The fee may be credited towards your gown if ordered during your initial consultation.
We are thrilled to have you join us again for an appointment at The White Peony. This appointment is dedicated to brides who have shopped with us before and have finally narrowed it down to a few favourites. (If you are ready to say yes and just want to have your measurements taken and proceed with your order, please contact us to book a complimentary 45 minute “Say Yes” appointment). During this 1 hour consultation, you will focus on trying on your top picks from your initial consultation.
There is a non-refundable, non-credited $40.00 charge.
You have been to TWP and have found the one, but you needed to sleep on it. During this 45 minute complimentary appointment, we will take your measurements, celebrate your big moment, and place your order!</p>
Third appointments are designed for brides that have been to TWP for an Initial consultation as well as a follow-up. We will revisit your favourites, and hopefully find yourself ready to say yes!
There is a non-refundable, non-credited $40.00 charge for third appointments and beyond.

• A 2.5 hour appointment with a dedicated stylist to help you find the one.
• The whole boutique to yourself

The White Peony opened in 2012, with the belief that your wedding dress shopping is as much about the experience as it is the dress itself.

Located in the design district of old town Victoria, we’re a romantic little bridal shop specializing in exclusive dress collections and unparalleled customer service. Here, we’re warm and welcoming, and understand deeply that every body, and everybody, is beautiful!

We curate our dress collection to reflect our love of romance and simplicity, and each wedding dress brought into the shop is hand-selected by us. We carry select bridal designers from around the world, specializing in collections made in Canada.

FAQs

Do I need an appointment?

Yes! To book your appointment, click here. No appointment but wanting to come in? Please call ahead. If we can accommodate it, we’d be happy to schedule you in.

What is the price range of your dresses?

Our collection ranges from $2500 to $7500, with majority between $3000-4500.

How many people may I bring with me?

Our boutique has seating for up to 4 additional guests. We find bringing a few closest loved ones keeps the experience special and focused on you. If you’re hoping to bring a larger party with you, please inquire in advance.

Can we bring Champagne?

No. We are not legally permitted to have alcohol brought into our business. However, we pop bubbles for you when you say YES to the dress!

Should I bring or wear anything special to my appointment?

Best to wear nude, seam-free undergarments, plus bringing shapewear for fitted crepe dresses can be helpful. A pair of heels if you like.

What sizes are your sample dresses?

The majority are size 10-12, however we sample from size 4 to 24. We understand it can be hard to envision yourself if the sample size isn’t a perfect fit, but we have clips and tricks to help give a very good idea.

When should I order my wedding dress?

6-9 months ahead of your wedding date allowing necessary time for production, shipping, and alterations. Rush orders can often be accommodated for additional fees. We also have a small ‘sample sale’ collection to shop from.

Do you provide alterations?

We do not have in-house tailoring however we provide a list of recommended seamstresses and are available for any questions or concerns throughout the alterations process.

Do you carry bridesmaid, or mother-of-the-bride dresses?

No. We carry wedding dresses in addition to bridal accessories.

What is a trunk show?

When we feature a designer’s complete collection of dresses for a limited time. This provides brides with an opportunity to order a dress not carried in our permanent dress collection, and a 10% trunk show discount is often associated.
