We are swooning over here at The White Peony! Last week, we had three fabulous dresses arrive at our store, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
From Elizabeth Dye’s 2014 Pacific Wonderland collection, Halo, the stunning Guipure lace, tulle and organza gown, has now found its home here in Victoria. Elizabeth Dye is a Portland-based designer who specializes in creating unique gowns with gorgeous trims and fabrics, inspired by past eras. These handmade dresses are thoughtfully designed, and have such wonderful one-of-a-kind touches.
We are also excited to welcome Blanche and Isla, from Lea-Ann Belter’s The Huron Collection, into our boutique. A gown by Lea-Ann Belter is the centrepiece of your wedding day, designed to set off your natural radiance. Handmade at the designer’s atelier using the highest quality materials, including dupioni silk and French Alençon lace, every dress is hand– embroidered with beautiful bead work and exquisite detailing.
Blanche is a “dulcet harmony of layered silk organza, dupioni, and French Alencon lace, Blanche’s appeal is in the details. Poised atop a sweetheart neckline, cap sleeves illuminate the face and anchor an open keyhole back. Hand-cut lace appliqués are scattered over the mermaid skirt.”
Isla is “Conjured by intricate, sequin-scattered net, diaphanous silk organza and tulle, Isla’s bewitching shimmer rivals that of the Milky Way. A ruched bodice, crossover sweetheart bust, low back and gossamer mermaid skirt highlight curves.”
We can’t wait to see you beautiful White Peony brides fall in love with these gowns, just as we did when we first saw them in NYC. To learn more about these fab designers and their collections, visit their websites:
